Being married to a wonderful Lady and happy as a can be, it somewhat does bother me what's going on in our society/culture as a whole.
Of course other People can marry who they want, it does not effect my Life style in any way. It does concern me though, where are we heading as Human Beings? We've seen already that our younger Generation lost most if not all "Respect" to one another in so many fields, now this Gay culture being blown out more and more. Where will it end? Do we next Vote for rights to marry a Animal (Sheep.. ect.)? How about having two/three Husbands/Wifes as a Marriage, what would be wrong with that? Why is that not legal also? Well, you see where this could go. I'm sure there are many that "Love" these last mentioned... so isn't their Love equal to others. People holding up signs saying...
" Love is all equal-so let it be free".
On the other hand, why am I worried what's going to happen in 30-40 or 50 years from now anyway?
My Life goes on no matter what, the way I see fit... so again... what other's do... do it as "you" please. It's your piece of the World.

...thought I add a little to this subject, as I was watching yesterday on Cable TV.. Morgan Freeman's "Wormhole" series. It dealt with not needing Sex anymore to have Children, not even a Woman's Womb. All can by done in a Lab and as it goes on... two man/two women doesn't matter, can produce off-spring on their own.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what I can not see us getting benefit from those studies. It sounds more and more like "Frankenstein", messing with Gene's/Cell's to create new Life. We should stay on track to cure Illness'/Infections, instead of this... what I see as going too far.

Most of people who dislike that say it's because of "new generation", that "freedom" has opened too much doors to all and nothing, so now, everything is possible.
To me, one thing is sure : I've always been told that boys love girls and girls love boys when I was children.
Later, I realize that some things were changed but because people didn't like talking about that, because it was as going into a "no way" thinking.

Did someone blame them because they are gays? No, or maybe not so much people, because they respect that "choice".
Now, because more and more people who are gays, feel like a little bit they can show it to us when going outside, makes some people feeling like "sick" and saying that it is "disgusting".
The problem is, that is something that is not so new.
Much of people who are gays are older than me, and from your generation, Arnold.
That "problem" should have been discussed maybe many times before, and laws should have been much discussed around it.
To me, I don't blame people who are gays, to have children. Why should they be blamed? Because there are 2 dads or 2 mothers? So it means they can not in any way be better than a dad and a mother? This is something I don't really undertand in fact.
Now, saying that a man could marry a dog or a cat, of course, it would be stupid... Then again, I would say : what is stupid in fact? When man reads that a woman who is very rich will die and that she'll give all her fortune to her cat because she doesn't want her family to get it.... isn't it stupid? Can you try to imagine the cat with more than 150 000 € and that it could get in a supermarket to get the best food for itself? Haha....
Now, something else that i agree, is that the world evolves, but people are more and more opened to all and everything.
A reality show in Japan shows men being fucked by dogs. Yes, you read well... fucked by dogs.
What the ...., would you think...
Just to say, about myself, I don't care so much about people who are gays and who want to have children, maybe it would be a bit difficult about the children's education, maybe would the children be blamed at school because of his parents who are gays.. then again, it would be stupid... because of some part of irrespect.
People who are gays are not ill, but most of time are being showed by the finger as if they would have cancer or AIDS...
Then again, I would say : where is the respect and where does it stop?
Sly, I appreciate your reply and honesty even talking about it. Some People get mad at you for having an Opinion, if it's not like their's.. they don't want to hear/listen what you have to say. I don't really care what Men-kind does or is going to do in the future, it's not in my control (I don't want it to be).. I only see it that it does not look good where this can/will lead. I wont be around anymore, so as so many things that are wrong with this world.. let this also run away wild (out of this world) so to speak. It certainly will be out of this world.
ReplyDeleteI did have a Sister In-law that is Gay, I never had any problem with it, as of now. After my late wife passed, she seems to keep a distance to me when we do meet. Like, giving me the cold shoulder.. now that "Her" sister is gone. This only shows me, that she "Only" tolerated me because I was married to her sister. I never dis-respected her in any way, so I don't feel I shouldn't be either. It doen't bother me one bit anymore, I do live my own life and anything un-pleasant that comes along I wipe away.. don't need it and don't want it!
Having posted this Article how I feel, also seemed to have offended other family member's of mine. It might hurt a bit, but I do have my opinion and I will say it as I feel it.. not what is politically correct. I'm no fool like way too "softies" in this Country, especially the Media and our "nice" Politicians.
